Information in English

All our posts are written in Danish. If you’re desperate to find out what a post is about, feel free to hit us up and we just might translate it for you. If you want a rough translation, try using the translation service in our sidebar.
Data Sapiens is a music blog with focus on electronic music – we’re an independent site without any connections or relations to record companies, shops, etc. The blog is run by two persons from Aarhus, in Denmark.
MP3-files we post up on the blog are mostly likely there because we’ve gained permission from the original author, label or promotion agency to post them up. Sometimes we take a risk posting files we haven’t gained permission to post up – but when we rarely do so, we take our measures. The files will be transcoded to low quality files (usually 128-160 kbps) and are meant as promotional files to spread the word about the artist, so that our readers most likely go buy their releases in a higher quality. If you have material hosted here at our blog and would like to have it removed or changed to a streamable file, please don’t hesitate to contact us at blog@datasapiens.net.
If you link to our files (deeplink), we would like to be credited. This is a simple requirement due to the fact that we’re actually paying for the traffic – it seems like a fair deal to us. We help you, and you help us.
We receive a large amount of emails every day, so we might not always have the time to get back to you. Be sure that we’ll read any mail and listen to any track you send us though. If we like it, we’ll post it!
